Northern Irish actor, James Nesbitt, has said his new head of remarkably natural looking hair has changed his life, after undergoing transplant procedures to combat his severe hair loss.
The 45-year-old star of Cold Feet underwent two hair transplants with specialist trichologists in Dublin, after he started suffering from significant hair loss a number of years ago.
The actor is so pleased with his restored thatch that he has recorded a glowing testimonial for the company behind his procedure, explaining how the loss of his hair had been a source of tremendous personal - and professional - worry.
"Several years ago, I began losing my hair and like a lot of men it was a major concern to me, in fact it was practically an obsession," said the actor, who has recently signed up to play dwarf Bolfur in the new Hobbit movie. "But, also I'm an actor so I'm in the public eye a lot and I really felt that my hair loss could affect my career prospects."
After agonising over the procedure, he had a consultation with a specialist surgeon in Dublin, who told him he was a prime candidate for hair transplant surgery.
"Since then I have had two hair transplants and I am very pleased with the results. In fact, I'd go as far as to say they've changed my life."
