One of Hollywood's worst kept secrets is that John Travolta no longer sports the full head of hair that he Grease-d up in the 1970s.
One a recent family holiday in Hawaii, however, he decided to ditch his increasingly unbelievable selection of toupees and show off his natural hairline as he spent time on the beach with his wife, Kelly Preston, and their children.
The family was holidaying in the Pacific island state to celebrate the Pulp Fiction star's 57th birthday, and it seemed that the star had finally made peace with the inevitable effects of his middle age.
His evident hair loss was particularly jarring however, when compared to photos taken just weeks before at the opening of the Breitling Flagship store in New York. At that event he wore a hairpiece that gave him a full head of wavy brown hair.
That wig itself contrasted with the short contemporary look he sported just weeks before that, when the couple graced the cover of People magazine, introducing their now three-month-old son, Benjamin to the worlds.
Benjamin is the couple's third child, and younger brother to 10-year-old Ella. Their oldest son, Jett, tragically died in two years ago after suffering a fit while the family was in the Bahamas.
